So our first song will be called Falling Leaves as it collected most of the votes!

Name for the song?

Like we told earlier our first song will be released on 15th December (which is next Sunday by the way!) and we want to hear your opinion about what the name of the song should be. So there you have a poll and all you need to do is to choose your favourite and vote for it. 🙂 The results will be released on Friday.

It’s all coming together.

Sorry about not giving out a sneak peek last week after all, our practice had to be cancelled as most of us were defeated by cold.

But we made up last week’s lack of practicing and put finally a song together! Now we only have to record it during next week and then you can have a listen. We are all excited, hope you will like it! If everything goes as planned the release date will be 15th December.

Hi folks!

Tomorrow we’ll have a songwriting session again and this time we might give you little audio or video sneak peek of what we have created so far! So keep checking the website during the weekend the intention is to put something up already on Saturday.

A wee update about the writing process!

Had some good and productive rehearsal time last week! Started out just by jamming but after all we came up with some actually great and meaningful lyrics and a melody. Productive meetings are the best, just makes you so happy. And making music together is great! Like our rehearsal started out by jamming and then turned out to be very creative. Think we all had fun!

Recorded some stuff just with an iPhone, doesn’t sound great yet but it’s a good guideline and start. That song will definitely turn out to be beautiful eventually. Can’t wait to  finish writing and actually record it.

So The Silverlinings is doing well! And it’s amazing how many followers we already have on Facebook even though we haven’t released any music yet! So thank you guys we really appreciate you. Be patient just for a little while and we’ll deliver you some pretty nice tunes!
